SAFETY
Safety is crucial in the construction industry, and at Blacksmith Construction, it’s our top priority. We’re committed to creating the safest work environment possible and a culture of incident-free operations. We strongly believe that every decision made throughout the day should prioritize the well-being of our team members.
Our main focus is ensuring that all members of our project teams return home safely each day. To achieve this, Blacksmith Construction provides extensive training, sufficient time, and the necessary protective equipment to enable our employees to carry out their tasks safely. Under the guidance of Blacksmith Construction Safety Director, we ensure that all our projects not only meet but exceed the highest safety standards set by the construction industry.
Safety site inspections are conducted at a minimum of once per week by the Safety Director and more frequently during specific high hazard operations. Blacksmith Construction works with our subcontractors to provide required safety training for their employees and site-specific requirements.
Our team is fully certified by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), demonstrating our unwavering commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety in the construction industry. This certification underscores our dedication to ensuring that every member of our team possesses the necessary knowledge and skills to identify and mitigate potential hazards, prioritize safety in all aspects of their work, and contribute to maintaining a secure and incident-free workplace environment.
